Sumario:"We propose two methods for the generation of hyperentangled NOON states in the spatial degree of freedom of light. One approach centers on (but not limited to) the radial degree-of-freedom of Laguerre-Gauss modes. This method illustrates how the spatial spectrum of the down-converted state can be modulated by engineering the pump. The second method is a novel protocol using the interference of two optical nonlinearities and control of the heralding (detection) basis in the orbital-angular-momentum degree-of-freedom. This setup can generate states which are both maximally entangled and hyper-entangled in at least four dimensions."
