| Summary: | This article analyzes the environmental conflict caused by the presence of geothermal megaprojects in the south of Nayarit. Particularly, it reflects some of the key features that configurate the territoriality mobilized by communities in resistance to those projects. This community territoriality was made visible and developed from the organized population response of several municipalities in the region, which converged within the socio-environmental movement “No al Proyecto Ceboruco.” This work is the result of a research carried out through a phenomenological, cross-sectional study, in which the bibliographic and documentary research skills were ideally used, as well as the in-depth semi-structured interviews and the nonparticipant observation. |
