Sumario:Sceloporus chrysostictus is a small, diurnal, and terrestrial lizard that is endemic to the Yucatán Peninsula. Falco sparverius is a small bird of prey with a very wide distribution throughout the American continent that is considered as winter migrant in the Yucatán Peninsula. In this work we report the predation of and adult S. chrysostictus by F. sparverius, being the first record of interaction between these species, and the first record of predation of S. chrysostictus by a bird of prey.
