Dynamics of a Generalized Two-mode Husimi Function in a Kerr Medium
We describe the dynamics of a generalizedHusimi function for a two-mode harmonic oscillator repre-sentation. | Sumario: | We describe the dynamics of a generalizedHusimi function for a two-mode harmonic oscillator repre-sentation. The time evolution equation is derived througha normally ordered technique which is shown to be conve-nient for describing dynamical systems withSU(2)sym-metry. We obtain an exact solution in phase space for aquantum nonlinear system described by a Kerr medium ini-tially in a two-mode coherent state. We study in detail theevolution of this system and explain some particular effectsexhibited during the process. |
