| Sumario: | Gustav Landauer was a heterodox socialist. Of Jewish background and a sympathizer of messianism, his philosophy was of a romantic anti-capitalism. He was assassinated for participating in the 1919 German Revolution. He wrote "Skepticism and Mystics" in 1901 and is a key author to understanding the libertarian thought in Central Europe. The following work reflects on "Skepticism and Mystics" and introduces it within the concept of history and messianic revolution of the Landauer project, concluding with a reflection about why this thought is still current today. |
