Sumario:In recent years, the European Union has been developing the European Higher Education Area, with the objective of coordinating and homogenizing the policies that regulate the creation and organization of credits and degrees in higher education. In this communication the new proposals for the renovation of the European university are presented for the purpose of analyzing them from a Latin American perspective.
