Sumario:The purpose of this research is to conduct an analysis of the essence of oral trials, as well as a comparative study of their regulation in the National Code of Civil and Family Procedures and the state provisions in relation to civil trials, as well as to identify the existence of codes that contemplate oral trials. For this purpose, all the procedural legislations of the states were verified, the text of the National Code, as well as the doctrine on oral trials, the result of which allows us to visualize similarities and differences that will occur in the states with the entry into force of the national code.
