Sumario:Among the main questions in the study of language acquisition and language description appears the ways to signify temporality. With a semantic and pragmatic approach; this article essays to fix the distinction between tense and verbal aspect; in order to facilitate the understanding of many languages in the world in which temporality is not signified with tenses; and on the contrary; verbal aspect takes the main role in the expression of processes temporality.
