| Sumario: | In this study we analyze whether the type of housing and the physical barriers placed between the street and the entrance of the street hold a statistical relationship with the feeling of insecurity in the neighborhood. The results suggest rejecting such a hypothesis given the lack of evidence. This research allows the reader to know the correlates associated with the feeling of insecurity in the neighborhood. For this study, bivariate tests and multivariate models were used. Data were collected from the National Survey of Victimization and Perception of Public Safety. |
