| Sumario: | The dental field must have all the necessary knowledge about this epidemic, because as a health professional and responsible for oral social conditions, it is essential to reduce the risk of chronic non-communicable and communicable diseases, for this, it is necessary to follow biosafety protocols, that are currently in force, but actions that arose as a result of the community contagion phase are being implemented, which are still under study and evolution. It is important to know what guidelines to consider in dental practice to perform it safely. Therefore, this diagram of biosafety measures applied in the dental office is based on the scientific evidence of oral health professionals during the pandemic and is intended to present the recommended personal protective equipment (PPE), as well as the phases that must be followed in dental clinical practice in the face of the pandemic situation we are experiencing. |
