Descripción
Sumario:The objective of this article is to offer alternatives to a series of methodological concerns for the analysis of the curriculum. For this purpose, we use an example a current project on the analysis of competencies in Spanish university degrees. As a result of this study, we indicate and evaluate the steps to collect the data and we offer some possibilities of analysis. We insist on the high probability of making systematic errors, we suggest how to reduce it, and we offer proposals to reduce the work time invested as well. In the procedure, we confirm the convenience of training the research team by working in pairs, as it contributes to make the time invested in collection and analysis more profitable. We understand that curricular research serves to improve the structure of teaching practices, which is why we share this experience since it is necessary to apply an adequate and rigorous methodology to achieve the research objectives.
