| Resumo: | In this work, we consider to analyze critically the concept of media development. The objective is to make precise this concept through specialized literature review. Inequality in a global perspective is a central topic in this discussion. The main argument is a lack of definition of media development concept. This situation concerns to a dispersion of intellectual traditions for studying. We find seven perspectives in four trends. In the final discussion we propose to consider media development in two meanings: a sociocultural process and a structural evaluating system. |
