| Sumario: | Since March 14, 2020, there have been important changes in legislation in our country. It has been necessary for us to quickly adapt to the changes that have occurred in today’s society as we know it today. COVID-19 has broken into our lives and, as far as we know today, it has made it to stay. Throughout the months of March and April, Royal Decree-Law appeared, in charge of regulating the most worrisome issues in all areas of social coexistence and, of course, in the field of law and, how could it be otherwise have become necessary to regulate issues related to labor relations. It has been necessary to regulate and clarify certain issues such as the temporary suspension of employment contracts, unemployment benefit, social security contributions, teleworking, isolation benefit, recoverable paid leave, or contagion due to COVID-19 —among others—. We are aware, day by day, of the implications that all of them have had throughout these two months, but now we will have to wait to see what happens in the not-too-distant future. |
