Descripción
Sumario:This article explores the evolution of Spanish teen series, broadcast by generalist televisions on VOD platforms from its beginning at 1997 to 2020. The sample includes 24 productions starring teenagers. The analysis carried out reveals the configuration of a subgenre of its own and its concern to address issues of interest to young audiences. A progressive dissociation between romantic love and sex is evidenced, as well as less dependence on the family and an increase in generational conflicts.
