Descripción
Sumario:The aim of this work is to describe and analyze the socio-cultural processes that took place around the expulsion of associates from the Avellaneda Agricultural Union. The concepts of fidelity and culture, along with those that came from the organizational analysis, were integrated to study how the cultural tools operated in this solidary entity in the face of the expulsion of associates because of the economic-social reconfiguration caused by the devaluation of the Argentine peso in 2002. It was corroborated that the myths and rituals in written documents and voices, related - by different factions - the world of common senses of their present and future needs. This settled the instrumental character of the action, not always conscious or premeditated by all the producers, but for that reason, it was effective. The methodological triangulation crossed quantitative use of different documentary sources of the entity and, interviews to different members of the Agricultural Union were made from a qualitative approach, in a central place.
