Resumo:In order to evaluate the cytogenetic effect of diuron and linuron, sister chromatid exchanges (SCE) in cells of Vicia faba root tips and in human lymphocytes in culture were used as test systems. Both herbicides did not induce SCE in these biological materials except at the lowest concentration of linuron (10 ppm) which produced a significant response only in Vicia.
