| Sumario: | The specialized literature of the last thirty years that refers to the so-called industry "without chimneys" ergo tourism, is rich and abundant. The subject has been approached from different disciplines and each of them reflects their own perceptions and interests. Its complexity and diversity is concentrated in different manifestations that can range from social to environmental (Brenner, 1999, Furió, 1996, Poria et al., 2003, Vera et al., 1997). For example, economists focus on the financial implications of tourism spending, demand, marketing, planning and development. These studies emphasize the mercantile aspect, passing the figure of the tourist sometimes to a second term. |
