Descrição
Resumo:This work uses the Pigeonhole principle as an aid in problem-solving, which is a technique in the teaching of Mathematics. The formal part on which this principle is based is presented using the idea of pigeons and nests seen from the perspective with particular and general cases. Classic mathematical problems are presented using the Pigeonhole principle, highlighting that some of these problems are exposed in mathematical Olympiads.
