Resumo:Este trabajo analiza las actitudes de ciudadanos – contribuyentes, respectoal cumplimiento tributario en Jalisco. El marco teórico aborda a Aristóteles,Kant, Apel, Habermas y Rawls y algunas teorías relacionadas con la evasiónfiscal. La hipótesis de trabajo es: el cumplimiento tributario tiene correlacióncon la ética fiscal del ciudadano jaliscience. La metodología es de tipo exploratoriay de enfoque cuantitativo. Se construyó un instrumento tipo Likert,con 40 ítems; una vez que se realizó la prueba del instrumento, el escalamientoquedó en 32 ítems, en su versión final. Se identificó una poblaciónde 8,143,931 habitantes, de los cuales se tomó una muestra aleatoria de 380ciudadanos contribuyentes, con base en la fórmula de Krejcie & Morgan,(1970), para determinar el tamaño de la muestra, con un nivel de confiabilidaddel 95% y un margen de error del 5%. Una vez aplicada la encuesta,se analizaron las respuestas con base al libro de códigos. Se comprobó la hipótesis.Se recomienda el mejoramiento de las actitudes éticas en materia decultura tributaria. AbstractThis research analyzes the attitudes of citizens - taxpayers, regarding tax compliancein Jalisco. The theoretical framework addresses Aristotle, Kant, Apel,Habermas and Rawls and some theories related to tax evasion. The workinghypothesis is: tax compliance is correlated with the fiscal ethics of the Jaliscocitizen. The methodology is exploratory and has a quantitative approach. ALikert-type instrument was constructed, with 40 items; once the instrumentwas tested, the scaling remained at 32 items, in its final version. A populationof 8,143,931 inhabitants was identified, from which a random sample of380 taxpaying citizens was taken, based on the formula of Krejcie & Morgan (1970), with a reliability level of 95 % and a margin of error of 5%. Once the survey was applied, the answers were analyzed based on the code book. Thehypothesis was verified. The improvement of ethical attitudes in matters oftax culture is recommended.
