Sumario:The ichneumónidos constitute the family of parasitoides wasps with more diversity, with more than 24,000 described worldwide. In Mexico, about 1,200 identified species have been reported. This is the first study on ichneumonids from the states of Nayarit and Sinaloa, Mexico, which includes 12 subfamilies, 43 genera and 84 species (62 of them identified). The subfamilies Mesochorinae (3 genera, 28 species) and Cryptinae (16 genera, 26 species) stand out. The most diverse genus is Mesochorus with 25 species.
