Descripción
Sumario:This work describes the origin of the studies on catalysis at the Center for Applied Sciences and Technological Development (Spanish acronym: CCADET) of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, their evolution, and the lines of research and development that are currently being pursued in this field. The projects that are being developed and those that were concluded in the last ten years are also described. An account of the collaborations that have been established, the infrastructure available to carry out research in the area and the main achievements in the field of catalysis in recent years is given. At the end of the paper, the future perspectives for this area, from the point of view of the members of the academic community of the Center working in catalysis, are presented.
