| Sumario: | In this document microservices are presented as an alternative and convenient way to build applications in comparison to the commonly used monolithic architecture, all this by exemplify and build an application that is indented to solve an everyday problem. This work introduces new and exciting technologies or framework used by some of the biggest companies which represents a big step in order to build new applications in an easy and fast way using this architecture, also a comparison is being made between some of the most popular frameworks in the market, making a distinction between what is a service oriented architecture and the new microservice architecture. All above with the purpose of exemplifying the usage an application of this new architecture by building a complete application using microservice and Apache Thrift as a framework in order to expose the importance of this architecture and show it as a possible replacement for some of the current applications that uses a monolithic approach. |
