Resumo:Nanotechnologies are the basis of a worldwide technological revolution. Their regulation is on the negotiating tables of the developed countries. In this article, the author analyes the characteristics that make nanotechnologies disruptive, pointing to the main problems that give rise to the discussion about their governance and elucidating the array of positions, many of which correspond to the economic interests of their proponents. ngo and union participation has been key in this governance process, despite the fact that these actors are not featured in the mainstream literature about innovation.
