| Sumario: | This article examines the views of Heidegger, Zubiri and Lonergan regarding the role of language in sensible perception. Firstly, following Cristina Lafont, Heidegger’s position is presented as a linguistic idealism. Secondly, an analysis of Zubiri’s thesis about the primordial apprehension of reality as something not linguistically mediated is analyzed. Lastly, Lonergan’s position, which states that language allows us to bring into focus certain aspects of experience, is examined. |
