| Sumario: | The research is aimed to disclose the current relevance of Marx’s theoretical corpus. First, we emphasize that the labor theory of value is a monetary theory of production that allows us to resolve successfully the inconsistencies derived from the marginalist notion of capital. We argue that the Marxian theory of money embodies a theory of endogenous money. Lastly, we show that Marx’s competition approach constitutes the basis of criticism of the conventional theory of international trade. |
