Resumo:At present, the world economic system, considered globally, is in a crisis that is difficult to solve. The extractives economies dynamics itself, which carried out an immeasurable depredation of the ecosystems far beyond their capacity for recovery. The consequences of this attitude have been the modification of global environmental conditions, the generation of diseases and pandemics linked to the lifestyle that fosters the disconnection between growth, economic and social development (translated into unemployment, precarious employment, marginalization, poverty, and vulnerability), and social cornering for the opening, especially in Latin America, to leftist ideologies. We are at an inflection point, where a rethinking of human ecology is pressing, based on firm integral and interdisciplinary bases that build a model of institutionalized change, based on local citizen commitments independent of national, state, or municipal policies.
