Descripción
Sumario:The purpose of this study was to know the second and third trimester student's opinion. These two trimesters to gether form the Common Courses Curriculum. These courses are compulsory for every student, regardless of the career he or she has chosen. The students included in this study belong to the Division of Biological and Health Studies. We thought it necessary to know the students' opinion because the new pedagogical approach demands that they face their educational tasks in a different way. The teaching-learning process they take part in presents knowledge in a more integral way and at the same time it demands of the student a greater degree of involvement that traditional systems. The goal in this process is that the students develop their independence of mind and study and increase the amount of information they possess and their ability to organize it, so that they can define and solve problems. The results show that the students have a good perception of the model and value their learning as positive. However , in the students' opinion, the available information for their studies seems very limited.
