Sumario:The present investigation was carried out with the purpose of determining which is the resistance of the sapphire brackets to compressive, shear and torsion forces, being the sample selected from different brands to make the sample more representative and not allow to think that When evaluating only one brand, only the results of the same are presented. Ceramic brackets are divided, depending on the way they are manufactured, into polycrystals known as porcelain and monocrystalline known as sapphire. These brackets have been introduced as an aesthetic alternative for orthodontic treatment, which has presented an increase in demand by the adult patient.
