| Sumario: | By relying on scientific information, this paper intends to classify the youth of Cuba’s countryside in terms of their sociopolitical participation, employment, gender and ethnicity. We weigh in the current state of the social sciences with respect to this population, focusing on what the content of the research ought to be focused on, to ensure relevance and accountability of the information. In addition, we propose a plan of action regarding the development of the rural youth. |
