Sumario:The article explores the social experiences of women runners of the Aguascalientes Marathon in the 2019 edition. The analysis and reflections focus on understanding the physical and health effects felt by men and women who take up running. Also on the diversity of emotions that they experience when running, as well as on the physical and emotional benefits that arise from reducing the stress caused by work and the problems that arise in everyday life. The sociology of sport and emotions, as well as the ethnographic method, are the theoretical and methodological underpinnings of this research.
