The research design was qualitative. A documentary methodology was used, specifically the state of the art, which seeks the current understanding and interpretation of a phenomenon. The study considered research that has been published during the period 2018-2020. For the collection of information, various databases such as Redalyc, Dialnet, Google Scholar, among others, were reviewed. An analysis of nineteen studies published during the reviewed period was carried out, as well as the comments made by twenty two proponents of the draft standard. As results of the research, it can be concluded that although the issuance of the norm represents an important advance, it must be revised to improve its theoretical and methodological support in terms of the treatment of psychosocial risk factors.La investigación tuvo como propósito generar un compendio de revisión del estado del arte, a fin de determinar qué se ha dicho, escrito o investigado en torno a la NOM-035-STPS-2018; de tal forma que ello permita inferir sobre la efectividad de dicha norma, para la atención de riesgos psicosociales y la promoción de entornos organizacionales favorables en México. El diseño de la investigación fue cualitativo. Se utilizó una metodología de carácter documental, específicamente el estado del arte, el cual busca la comprensión e interpretación actual de un fenómeno. El estudio consideró investigaciones que se hayan publicado durante el periodo 2018 2020. Para la recopilación de información se revisaron diversas bases de datos como Redalyc, Dialnet, Google Scholar, entre otras. Se ejecutó un análisis de diecinueve estudios publicados durante el periodo revisado, así como los comentarios vertidos por veintidós promoventes al proyecto de norma.
