This species feeds mainly on benthic invertebrates, such as the stomatopods Eurysquilla veleronis and Meiosquilla swetti, amphipods, other crustaceans, the shrimp Processa peruviana and brachyuran portunids, and to a lesser extent, on polychaetes and fishes.Se analizaron los estómagos de 295 rayas de la especie Urobatis halleri (Urolophus halleri), capturadas en la plataforma continental de Jalisco y Colima (México), en muestreos mensuales de septiembre de 1997 a agosto de 1998.
