Descripción
Sumario:The object of this research is to analyze the theoretical concepts of internal democracy and institutionalization of the electoral Organization of the PRD (Party of the Democratic Revolution Mexico) in the renewal of its leaders by internal elections. The transition to democracy in Latin America and Mexico is analyzed in order to understand the conditions in which the PRD emerged. The circumstantial situations that generate conflicts in the processes for election of leaders are also analyzed in four studied periods, from 1999 to 2008. Statutory rules, speeches of the political actors, organization flaws, and violation to their codes are studied. Therefore, the performance is established through the organization flaws of the organs whose main role is to carry out and to sanction the internal elections. One last objective is to set out the anomalies that occur during the election processes, and that, in some cases cause the state institutions (such as TEPJF) to intervene.
