Descripción
Sumario:In the 2017-2018 electoral period in Mexico, our research on the human cost of social activists has shown that not only they and journalists suffered it, but also electoral candidates and government authorities. We present the results of the exploratory research on that selective extermination people, in order to make it visible to the current spiral of violence. For this, we have recorded daily, from January 2017 to December 2018, the actions with human victims, which we have processed with the Statistics Program for Social Sciences (SPSS), from the perspective that violence is inherent to the state of power in Mexico, resulting from the intertwining between the criminal order and the legal order in the process of selective extermination, which includes the electoral extermination.
