Resumo:This work tries to support that art, particularly dramatic art, has a specificity with politics through its own processes, which are directly related to subjective, creative, individual and social events. This positioning, achieved in postmodernity, places art in general in a condition that generates changes in psycho-social processes. We propose that, among the political nature of art, the need to continuously maintain the meaning of life of individuals who have chosen to dedicate their activities to performing art is identified, as well as the precision of permanently reaffirming themselves as artists. To achieve this, the claim is externalized – both to higher education institutions and to business sectors – for greater scenic spaces and job opportunities for their economic stability. This struggle, on the part of the graduates of public universities, can only be achieved through the formation of groups, a necessary condition to become visible and achieve their objectives.
