| Sumario: | The professional career of women keeps being a thematic of greater and recurrent interest; this is explained by the multiplicity of researching areas, methodological approaches and perspectives that this topic presents. The goal of this article is to review the career models identified in specialized literature regarding professional development of women towards management positions, to approach and contrast the limitations provided in these paths. After the revision of the literature, the results show four big groups or career models that explain the female career path towards management positions and a growth classification applicable to each of them. As a main contribution, this paper articulates the models of career present in the literary corpus, bounds and links the most common limitations in the labor reality as well as breaks with out of date convictions that operate in the professional world about female career paths. |
