| Sumario: | The purpose of this investigation is to prove that patents and trademarks influence the Gross Domestic Product in a country, in this case Mexico, thus encompassing the number of industrial drawings or models registered year after year in the aforementioned country, considering counts the last 10 years to the current year. This study was carried out in the Minitab statistical package, using multivariate statistical analysis, focusing on the most significant variables. This study was applied to the data collected by the World Intellectual Property Organization using the Minitab statistical package, in a multivariable statistical analysis, taking as our statistical variables the patent, trademark and drawing or industrial model. Once the multivariate analysis is done, we arrive at the fact that our drawing or industrial model variable is not significant, so it does not influence our analysis. So, thus, we have that the only variables that influence the Gross Domestic Product in Mexico are the variables of patents and trademarks. |
