| Sumario: | The main purpose of this essay is to compare the social and economic conditions which different day laborer families live in, who come from Tlapa de Comonfort and Chilapa de Juárez, municipalities in the State of Guerrero, and arrive annually to Mixquiahuala de Juárez and Francisco I. Madero, townships located in Hidalgo, in order to labor in the harvest of green beans and peppers. Later, having in mind the situations mentioned above, it is examined whether the day laborer families live in a generalized precarious labor environment at those places where they arrive, as well as an analysis on whether when they enroll as agriculture laborers, they leave behind the poverty and marginalization of their places of origin or if they worsen at those places where they arrive. |
