Sumario:In this study, quantitative experimental design, learning between two groups of students graduated in computer systems of the Autonomous University of Nayarit was compared. They received a course of basic programming (using the Java programming language), one in face mode and virtual other. Each group consisted of 16 students in the third semester. A pre-test was applied and a post-test to both groups, these data were collected and analyzed using parametric statistical t-student test. The result showed a slightly higher learning in the group receiving instruction in virtual mode.
