At the same time, the study proposes an analysis similar and complementary to the abstract models of formal demography. Specifically, the article considers the practices and strategies of proceation, as well as the subjectiveness of people as constitutive elements of a succession of generations, as observed on different analytical level.Este artículo presenta una compleja propuesta conceptual y metodológica. Al mismo tiempo que rescata los aportes de la antropología y la sociología para pensar las dimensiones demográficas de la vida social como cursos de acción impregnados de elementos simbólicos y subjetivos, propone analizarlos de manera análoga y complementaria a los modelos abstractos de la demografía formal.
