SISTEMAS DE PRODUCCION CON CYNODON DACTYLON Y LEUCAENA LEUCOCEPHALA CON BORREGOS PELIBUEY PASTOREANDO EN EL TROPICO SECO SALINA DE NAYARIT
With the objective of evaluating the chemical composition, the nutritional value and the production of forage and sheep meat, of two varieties of Bermuda (Cynodon dactylon) (Cross 1 - BC1- and Tifton 68 - T68-) in the systems of use of association with Guaje (Leucaena leucocephala) (A) or with prote...

| Resumo: | With the objective of evaluating the chemical composition, the nutritional value and the production of forage and sheep meat, of two varieties of Bermuda (Cynodon dactylon) (Cross 1 - BC1- and Tifton 68 - T68-) in the systems of use of association with Guaje (Leucaena leucocephala) (A) or with protein bank with the same legume (B), the present investigation was carried out in a soil with average salinity of Guadalupe Victoria, Nayarit, with an Aw, tropical dry climate. Five treatments were tested in recently created pastures that housed the following: 1) BC1 control (T), 2) T68-A, 3) T68-B, 4) BC1-B and 5) BC1-A, plus some combi nations of both species and treatments for chemical and biological determinations. For laboratory determinations and forage production, a completely randomized experimental design with several repetitions was used, according to the determination and for weight gain the same design with a 2 x 2 factorial arrangement, two grass varieties and two seed systems. utilization. The sheep were of the Pelibuey breed growing males with an initial average weight of 22-23 kg. The results indicated that there were no marked differences between varieties of paste for the variables of chemical and biological analysis or for production, but for systems of use of forages, where in some variables the association exceeds the protein bank, although it is of noticing that the final state of the paddocks of both species did result with palpable differences. The use of protein banks improved pasture forage production, at a time when the best system for production of fuel-in-association meat, with 86 g vs. 56 of the protein bank. |
