Descripción
Sumario:This work proposes to reclaim the concept of human duties in contemporary constitutional theory. To achieve this goal, it analyzes the technical concept of subjective duty, distinguishes duties from other legal categories related to it, and accounts for the excess of human rights and the corresponding absence of human duties. A proposal is also made to have a catalog of human duties that could be incorporated into the Mexican constitution. So, supported by the philosophy of law, it is asseverated that the defense and protection of freedoms requires both the participation of human rights and human duties.
