Descrição
Resumo:Photoionized stellar wind bow shocks are found in a number of different astrophysical objects : compact H II regions, H II regions around runaway O stars andbow shocks around young, low mass stars within photoionized regions. We presenta formulation for calculating the emission measure from analytic, thin shell stellarwind bow shock models, with which simple predictions of the recombination line orthe free-free emission can be made. We illustrate the predictions that can be madeby calculating the emission maps that result from a model of a non-axisymmetricstellar wind bow shock.
