Sumario:In this article, the author reflects on the implementation of U.S. trade policy under the Trump administration in the framework of the debate between multilateralism vs. regionalism in the twenty-first century. She discusses the administration’s position vis-à-vis the World Trade Organization (wto) and its policy of updating and negotiating trade agreements to benefit the United States. Finally, she analyzes the current trade war with the People’s Republic of China.
