Descripción
Sumario:Spanish, European and Latin American libraries contain in their antique collections numerous bindings of Arabic influence that have not been studied, as is the case of such important libraries as the National Libraries of Spain, Mexico and Colombia, among others. This paper studies the Mudéjar bindings of the Morals on the Book of Job by Saint Gregory, from the Biblioteca de la Casa de Alba. An analysis is carried out of the decorative structure, as well as of the elements, tools and ornamental techniques. The analysis of the data indicates that they were made in the same workshop and at the same time, and were acquired by the National Library of Spain at the end of 2017.
