Descripción
Sumario:Through its massive diffusion on the internet, K-Pop (Korean Pop) has managed to establish itself as an important part of the identity of multiple groups of young people around the world. The transcendence of this dance-musical culture lies in its potential to create a community through the practice of Dance Cover, overcoming the linguistic barrier and the market dynamics in which it is inserted. From an ethnochoreological perspective, this work approaches the practice of K-Pop in Puebla to explore the emic didactic processes, through which the youth of Puebla create and reproduce corporal techniques of various urban genres with the help of technological mediation. Finally, this approach makes it possible to demonstrate the need to generate a space for reflection for dance and musical cultures of a transcultural nature, their confluence and the processes that, around them, build new kinetic identities.
