| Resumo: | At the pinnacle of financial capitalism and the rebound of the digital economy in the second decade of this century, the rapid expansion of digital platforms has had a strong social, economic, and financial impact on global economies. However, in the forms of work that characterize them, there is an exacerbated structural precariousness of work, new outsourcing relationships, informality, and job insecurity. Thanks to digital media, thousands of women can offer goods and quick services, with little investment, and generate income. In this article, we seek to understand who the New Internet Business Entrepreneurs are; women who mostly start businesses using the services of platforms and social networks as an instrument of subsistence. We found that beyond being an isolated group, it is an entire growing economy with wide possibilities for analysis and understanding of the informal phenomenon. |
