Descrição
Resumo:This paper discusses a number of figurines found in San Dionisio during our 2003-2006 surface surveys. The typology of pieces modeled in clay resembles that of Monte Alban and its surroundings, and dates between the Guadalupe and Monte Alban I phases. Another group was made out of stone, and shares some traits with other middle Preclassic anthropomorphic figures, especially those attributed to the Olmec and/or related cultures.
