| Summary: | The relationship between the variables masculinity and condom use in young urban Ecuadorian southern Quito and Mexican Otomi-Tepehua region arises. In both groups three types of masculinity (traditional, hybrid and modern), which related to sexuality are evident, these young people placed in a stage of cultural transition. On the use of condoms, it is found that manhood is not a fundamental feature defined as men, because the love and respect are gaining importance. |
