Sumario:The Autonomous University of Nayarit in the permanent search of the improvement of the formation processes in its multiple manifestations, has undertaken for some years a space of reflection and analysis regarding the current scenarios of the public university, main problems, good practices, improvement proposals and challenges and expectations that have to be covered by all the actors involved in the educational field. Thus, as a result of these works, this volume 3 is presented, the title of which is University Teaching and the integral formation of students. In this book is integrated a diversity of participations made by professors of the Autonomous University of Nayarit, which derive from their academic work in the teaching practice, as well as research for teaching. Topics are addressed from the critical didactic as a proposal of educational model, a proposal of project method for the development of investigative skills, reflection on scientific thinking in professional practice, educational proposal of training based on new professional trends, proposal of evaluation of student competencies, tutorial intervention in the training process, pedagogical training and teacher evaluation, access to information and audiovisual tools in teaching practice, reflections on the implications of being a university student and strengthening university identity, as well as a general analysis on trends in graduate policy.
